HLG has been awarded an AED 70 million contract for the remote services facility and main building substructure works package for the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi by TDIC. The project will be undertaken in joint venture with Murray and Roberts.
The Group will also bid for the main superstructure works for the Museum.
The Museum will honour the late leader of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, providing a fitting testament to this important national figure. Twelve of the world’s top architectural firms participated in a competition to create the most appropriate design for the Museum. Foster + Partners were declared winners, and their iconic design is to be unveiled soon.
An official ground-breaking ceremony is to be held on Sunday, 31 October.
